Our teachers

Kimberly

Kim has been teaching yoga and leading retreats in Australia, Canada and Bali since 2008. Kim has spent an embarrassing amount of time studying this eastern practice and draws on traditional wisdom in each class, but also shares whatever the heck is needed.

Expect a class with creative sequencing that both strengthens & soothes, designed specifically to extract all that is alive & well within this beautiful & chaotic thing called life.

Michelle

Michelle is a mother of three with a health & fitness background — and over 10 years of yoga experience. After experiencing the healing and nurturing power of yoga during challenging times, she felt inspired to share the practice with others.

On top of her 200 hour yoga teacher training, Michelle has also completed additional training in yoga for fatigue, anxiety, chronic pain and other conditions.

Weaving the key elements of yoga into each class (Asana, breath, and yogic philosophy), you can expect a holistic and nourishing approach to practice.

Sally

Mama, Surfer, Chai Queen & Flow Enthusiast.

Her constant study & curiosity for goodness makes being around her a real treat… except during a core sequence, it might be friends off for that moment but her infectious smile and genuine warmth usually mends things quickly after.

Sally has a strange & wonderful niche for actually understanding the complexity of our human physiology and in her classes offers valuable insight to practices that nurture & restore. Expect a class that brings to life both the playful & grounding aspects of Yoga — an opportunity to flow in a safe & supported way.

Zoe

Zoe has been practicing & teaching yoga for many years, maybe as a way to stay sane while raising three boys. Her love for all kinds of movement brings a lighthearted vibe to the sometimes awkward situation of a yoga class; rolling around beside strangers in lycra.

Expect a class that welcomes all levels with cues to create an enjoyable & deep stretch to calm the nervous system while restoring achy muscles & joints.

How do I book a class?
We use MomoYoga for online booking of all classes and workshops. Find a class in the schedule, click 'book now' and follow the prompts. If it's your first time booking online with us, you'll need to register on the site — it only takes a minute.

Our classes

Are your classes suitable for beginners?
Unless otherwise noted, all our classes are suitable for beginners. If it's your first time trying yoga, just chat to your teacher before class and let them know so they can help you get started.
What do I need to bring to class?
Normally all you need to bring is a water bottle and your yoga mat. (If you don't own a yoga mat, we have some at the studio you can borrow, and we also usually have some for sale.) If a class or workshop requires you to bring something else, it will be noted in the description in the schedule.
Where are classes held?
Unless otherwise indictated, classes are help at The Space — 180 Liebig Street, Warrnambool.

Beach classes are held at Stingray Bay on Viaduct Road, but if the weather on the day is uncooperative, we'll let you know the alternative location via email.
Where's the best place to park?
Limited parking is available right outside the studio on Liebig Street, but you can find more parking just across the highway on Darling Street (behind Reece) or around the corner on Raglan Parade.
Is it safe to attend a yoga class during COVID?
We carefully follow all rules and guidance from the government to keep the studio safe for everyone. Please do not attend class if you have any symptoms at all — we will happily refund your booking if you need to cancel due to displaying COVID symptoms.
I have an injury or condition that might make yoga difficult, can I still come to class?
We can adjust classes and individual poses to accomodate many injuries and physical restrictions — but it's important that you let the teacher know before class begins.
